"Company" refers to [La Familia Legacy], its subsidiaries, and affiliates.
"Customer" means any person or entity requesting services from the La Familia Legacy.
"Shipment" refers to goods, packages, or freight transported by the La Familia Legacy.
"Services" means all logistics, transportation, warehousing, and related services provided by the La Familia Legacy.
By engagingLa Familia Legacy’s services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms govern all shipments unless otherwise agreed in writing.
La Familia Legacy provides transportation, handling, and delivery of goods as agreed upon with the Customer. La Familia Legacy may engage subcontractors or third parties to fulfill its obligations.
The Customer must:
Provide accurate descriptions of goods, including weight, dimensions, value, and any hazardous materials.
Ensure proper packaging and labeling in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Obtain all necessary documentation, permits, and clearances for the shipment.
La Familia Legacy is not liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by:
Acts of God, war, strikes, or governmental actions.
Inherent defects or natural properties of the goods.
Improper packaging, labeling, or handling by the Customer or Merchant.
The Customer is responsible for insuring their goods. The Company does not provide insurance unless expressly agreed in writing.
All delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed unless explicitly agreed in writing. La Familia Legacy is not liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.
Charges are based on the applicable rates at the time of service.
Payment is due within 7 days of invoice date.
Customers may incur storage fee at $150 per day, per package after 7 days of not making payments for packages or retreival of packages.
Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 7-10 days of delivery.
Claims for non-delivery must be submitted within 10-14 days of the expected delivery date.
Failure to make a claim within the specified time will result in the claim being barred, charges may apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Shipping Act.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
La Familia Legacy may modify these Terms at any time, with notice to the Customer. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms, together with any written agreements, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior communications.
